Community Outreach
We work to give children the education they need and fight the Poverty that stand in their way.
For over 14 years, the Children's Life Foundation has been doing whatever it takes for children and widows in need. There are many ways you can volunteer to support our mission. From one-time opportunities to ongoing partnerships, your involvement on behalf of children can start a ripple of change – changing the lives of children and the future we all share.
Cash sponsors pay money to be involved in the event. Cash sponsorships for major charity events are significant fundraising opportunities for nonprofits. A cash sponsor gets specified publicity for the cash paid. It’s like buying a commercial on television. The advertiser gets revenue, and the company gets publicity directed toward a specific target audience.
Part of the package usually includes attendance to any gala or official ceremony. Usually, a title sponsor gets a whole table or two depending on the size and investment of the sponsorship. A smaller company may get the publicity as well as a couple of ticket to a gala at a table with other sponsors so they can network.
In-kind sponsors don’t pay money for the exchange of promotion at the event. Instead, they perform services or products based on an exchange of retail cash value. This type of sponsorship is attractive to a company that wants to save money on sponsorships since the retail value is less than the actual cost of producing the product. It also gives the company a chance to show off what it can do so everyone can see the quality of work. A t-shirt company could give all volunteer and participants a free event t-shirt. Everyone gets to see and feel the shirt and see the quality first hand.
Another type of in-kind sponsor is a giveaway sponsor. A car dealership offering a car as a giveaway in the raffle is doing an in-kind sponsorship. This builds a lot of excitement with attendees, and creates a lot of discussion about the car; thus, the dealership is holding the giveaway event.
Media sponsors agree to advertise the event. This includes television, radio, print and social media channels. An event that has media sponsors spends less on marketing the event. A small business can coordinate with the event to work with media sponsors. For example, a local business marketing consultant can offer to write an article for the event, and then submit the press releases to local media. This is a combination of in-kind sponsorship and media sponsorship.
